International Conference on “Ground Improvement, Landfills and Sustainability (GLS-2025)”
The IGS Bengaluru Chapter, in association with the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), is pleased to announce the organization of an International Conference on “Ground Improvement, Landfills and Sustainability (GLS-2025)”, scheduled to be held on 18–19 July 2025 at IISc, Bengaluru.
This event is being held to commemorate the superannuation of Prof. G. L. Sivakumar Babu, following an illustrious academic and research career spanning nearly three decades in the Department of Civil Engineering at IISc. As a distinguished figure in the field of Geotechnical Engineering, Prof. Sivakumar Babu has made significant contributions to research, education, and professional service, both nationally and internationally.
