A typical framework for continuous simulation using HEC-HMS

A typical framework for continuous simulation using HEC-HMS are shown in Figure-1. Following three "procedures" are included in this framework. The particular version of HEC-HMS was Version 4.2.1.

1. Soil Moisture Accounting (SMA) as the Loss Procedure;

2. Clark's Unit Hydrograph Method as the Transform Procedure

3. Linear Reservoir Method as Baseflow Procedure.
