While I was working as Administrator for Kosi Flood Forecasting System and used to sit at FMSIC Office at Anisabad, Patna a trip was planned to assess the post-monsoon flood situation in Kamla River Basin. The purpose was to generate primary data so that re-calibration of some of the Sub-Basin Units (Rainfall-runoff models) with Kosi-FFS be done. This trip was planned just after the flood season of 2019 and ended with a productive and measurable actions for Kosi-FF later on. Following picture says it all.

Particulars about the picture are summarized below:
Site: Jhanjharpur Railway Bridge Site
River: Kamla Balan
Place: Madhubani District, Bihar, India.

Instrument used: Hand held current meter.
Date: 09-September-2019 (just after 2019 flood season).
